Why worry when you can pray!!!

Prayer should not be our last resort but I love how God usually waits until we exhaust our avenues first YET still comes through when we GO TO HIM. There are other times when you pray right away, and God guides you through a bunch of dead ends and closed doors until you know He and HE alone had the answer.

I don’t serve and love God just for what He has. I love GOD for WHO He is, but I am always in awe how much God honors my little simple prayers that you would think the God of the Universe wouldn’t care about. Yet He says Fear not little flock. He knows all the stars by name, and He has my hairs all numbered. And every day that number changes. The little things matter to God.

I have so many amazing answers to prayer. Anyone who is saved, enters into an amazing individual adventure with the God of the Universe. I love my God and my relationship with HIm is just as real and more so than any earthly relationship. The only thing close is the love in marriage. I sense his presence, I know He leads me, I know He hears my prayers when they are heart felt, I know He answers them, and I know He has an amazing plan that I can’t see in it’s entirety. These are lessons I have had to learn. I used to fret and worry and now I see more and more, I come to Him and know I have been heard. I love the expression “sometimes He calms the storms, but more often He calms the child.”

Just had 2 simple nudges that God is there just yesterday. The other day I had a few moments to get in the Bible and I just randomly turn to Luke 9 and my verses 23-25 are highlighted, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

I read that and then I randomly flip to Matthew 16:24-26 which is a very similar passage. I just tried to recreate that order and I couldn’t without turning to many many pages. And yesterday, God put it on my heart to fast.

Guess what Pastor Lou’s Wednesday night message was about? Fasting. And guess what his texts were? Yes. God continues to amaze me.

And in the little things He comes through even in my secular line of work. First, He has been opening some great doors to witness to folks. I have had a few customers reveal to me great discouragement and huge struggles. The Lord has given me some great words to say and I am praying for many of my customers.

To keep this pharmacy in business, I believe the Lord gave me this muscle rub idea, Mike’s miracle Muscle rub. I thought if I mix lidocaine ointment, capsaicin, and aspercreme and have a 2nd version with voltaren (like a Motrin), it might help people. I needed a kitchen aid to see how they would mix up before I started getting scripts for it. I spoke to my boss and he started looking on Craig’s list and another list. They all fell through and God put on my heart to put it on Facebook. Turns out my neighbor next door had one they don’t use anymore so I bought one from them!

God is good.
All the time!

And that is whether He answers prayers or not.
