Send out the Lifeline!

Know I am not going to let up until you are saved.

When you are saved, you will never ever get enough of JESUS or the Bible. The bible urges you to examine yourself.

Let God burst your bubble of disillusionment. Don’t let your stubbornness damn you to hell, and those that might be following you as an example.

Imagine….

You have a subscription for the newspaper of the future. It is April 10th, 1912. You board the Titanic and as you board your post dated issue arrives in your hand. You look at the headlines from April 15th 1912. Titanic Disaster! Great loss of Life!

Do you:

1) Tell all the passengers and try to get as many on the lifeboats as possible? Even if they might think you are trying to ruin their fun?

2) Realize you have 4 days to enjoy the pleasure ship.

3) Figure the article must be open to interpretation.

Obviously, you might want to show people the newspaper, try and get the Captain to turn back, etc. But let’s say those are not options. Let’s say you get handed the newspaper, and find yourself on the deck just after the iceberg struck and no one takes the warning seriously.

You should be able to see the connection. The Bible is the newspaper in the future. You come to it to meet the Author, and hence you come for salvation. When you get saved, the bible becomes alive to you. But you still need to study it out but when you study, the future will map out very clearly. We know what is coming, we know we are in the last season and final inning before everything falls into place, and we just don’t know the exact time the final pieces fall into place. But they will fall.

And we are trying to warn, wake people up, and cry out that Jesus is coming.

Some people don’t like the fact Christians see a lot of things clear in black and white.

But we go to the black ink of the bible, on the white paper and absolute truth is black and white. You don’t legislate morality. You don’t go by what the majority think is acceptable. There are things clearly right and clearly wrong. Black and white.

Because really, you will see things in black and white only when you can see the bible in living color.

The truth will make you free, and make the bible come alive!

John 8:32-36

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed
