The devil is the god of this world.
We are born on the devil’s team. That is why JESUS said YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN.
IF that sounds foolish to you, it is a good sign you need to be saved.
2ndCorinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
1stCorinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God
2ndCorinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
We are not to be, as the Bible says, ignorant of his devices.
The Lord spoke to me more about not being ignorant of his DEVICES.
Devices. Computers. Cell phones. TV and Cable. Movies. Internet. Video games. Virtual worlds. The WORLD Wide WEB. Devices.
Webs can trap you.
Just be careful. I use FB and this website as a bit of a ministry so I am on the internet a lot. And the internet can have some very bad things on there and it can be a time waster. Cell phones can encourage with a text or be a good convenient way to address emergencies. But with Smart Phones with a touch of a button we can access hard core porn and anything else under the sun. They also tend to hold our attention whether we are driving or visiting Grandma. And so on.
The bible exhorts us to redeem our time, to not put wicked things in front of our eyes, to rejoice in the wife of our youth and save our eyes for her, to not be a stumbling block to others (which means we might be strong enough for something media related, but our kids often aren’t.)
If you live in America or now pretty much anywhere in the world the media devices will be something we all face. The bible says we aren’t to be mastered by anything. Can we go without any of these for 30 days? How about even 30 minutes?
I was challenged yesterday, if Jesus was returning at 5 pm today, what would you do different with your day?
And this only applies to the saved. If the statement about Jesus’ returning has no impact on you, get smart, and get saved.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. With wisdom, we can see how the devil attempts to trick us, ambush us, confuse us, lie to us, and neutralize our message. We need the truth of God’s word and the shield of faith to protect us from the fiery darts of the wicked.

Distracts (Go POKEMON!)
Divides (Black Lives Matter)
Distorts the truth with lies.
Defeats many with addictions from Drugs and Drunkeness to Diet Pepsi
Dries up their zeal for God with the Dolphins, Diamond Backs, Ducks and Devils.
Comes up with lies that get people to Deny God (evolution)
Demonstrates the power to become like God himself
Dulls people’s spiritual hunger with false religions
Deadens this world to the needs and cries of others
Deepens man’s rebellious nature and wanting to live independent from God
Darkens the minds and hearts of those that are lost
and gets people to Doubt God’s promises and Holy Word,
and ultimately Destroys
and Drags the Lost into Hell.
Meanwhile he Discourages Christians and Dishes out accusations to the brethren.
Don’t be fooled. Only Jesus can defeat the Devil. And Jesus only comes in you at salvation.
Be not ignorant of his devices. And turn off many of those devices that keep you from spending time with Jesus.
