The Christian life can often be a conundrum to those that don’t know the Bible or know Jesus in a real, saving way. The way up is DOWN, to find your life you must be willing to LOSE it, and to get you have to GIVE. To go to heaven, you must see you deserve HELL.
The other conundrum is we know that we are in the last days, but we won’t be predicting the end of the world. At least not in the sense of these guys who come and go and change their dating every few years. “I was wrong the last time, but seriously, I have the date for the end of the world right this time. It is all in my newest book for just $19.99! Operators are standing by!”
Yes, the world is not going to end even if the Cubs win the world series.
Here is what God showed me this week concerning the end.
Give this some serious thought. Across the world, there is enough nuclear fire power to destroy Earth likely 8 times over. You have wars and rumors of wars and power hungry trigger happy world leaders who would like nothing more than to just start pushing the launch button.
The proof God is in control is in that very fact that the WORLD HAS NOT ENDED YET!
God is simply long-suffering and restraining hard headed and prideful men far longer than we deserve. HE IS GIVING PEOPLE EVERY CHANCE TO REPENT AND BELIEVE AND RUN TO GOD before it’s too LATE.
If there was no God, man would have destroyed the world already. Do not miss that. He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the time to repent and obey the gospel is running out.
