Network marketing. Maybe it still puts a negative taste in your mind if you tried it before and didn’t find success. Or you know someone in it, and cringe because of that person. But what I found is one, it does work, and two, more and more it is revealing itself as the legitimate opportunity that you may want to familiarize yourself with it.
Think of the greatest tool at your disposal, but you don’t know what it does. Or the greatest App one could download — but you really don’t know what it does or how to use it right — so it sits there. When the App gets opened without knowing how to use it, the power still remains untapped.
More and more I think Network marking in general, and MY COMPANY ESPECIALLY are/is the greatest opportunity for anyone — and more and more people are finding out this is an awesome opportunity to buy time to have for family or ministry.
It really looks like we have a choice at this exact moment — work hard and fast for 2 to 3 years and be set for life. Or work hard and fast for the next 40 years, living paycheck to paycheck, count on social security and hopefully have enough energy and time one day to start a nursing home ministry.
The problem today is even if you want to stay with a company for life, often you are forced out. There is little you can do to weather out a financial storm today — get one or two bad streaks and you cannot recover. How many folks are one or two crisis’ away from bankruptcy? Yes, the Lord is in control, but the system is rigged today and we are stuck feeling like we are slaves to a system.

10) It has transformed me into a leader and taught me how to develop leadership skills. And it takes life-changing principals and shows you how to apply them in real time I am a better business man, but also a better pharmacist, better husband, better father, better church member, and no longer afraid of failure.
9) MLM has lost it’s stigma and people are starting to wake up to what we have at our disposal. Business is changing faster and faster and the old plan is crumbling fast, but people don’t know another way. Forbes calls this a legit retirement plan. There now is amazing training how to do this right and how to do this well.
8) We produce much better products that you know you can trust — I stand behind them because I take them and I love what I have from a product standpoint.
7) I am on a great team. I am friends on FB with some of the top leaders. They are regular guys vs. the intimidation and arrogance many of the big corporate leaders hold over you. These guys are servant leaders and will share their life lessons and want to show you how they did it. There is no job insecurity that the corporate world has where when you stand out, you soon are a target. They show me I can be what they are because they were once like me.
6) It is very simple to show these are not pyramid schemes. Pyramids have one or two guys at the top and no one else has a chance of success. That looks like Corporate America to me. But here, if you are not using some product yourself, the comp plan doesn’t work, even if everyone below you is on fire with this. I can’t speak for other companies, but my comp plan goes 6 levels down on many bonuses, etc. My friend Kurt started a year ago, and is a Top 5 distributor. You can build as fast or as big as you want. It is a level playing field and rewards those that work the system well and consistently. Someone said, “People in the rat race working 9-5 and no hope for retirement will say MLM/Network Marketing are scams! Pyramid schemes!, but then they go and work 40 hours a week for $30k a year to make their CEO earn $50million a year.” Reality: this is an amazing opportunity but the average person is letting fear stop them so the Pyramid scheme is a convenient excuse to not get going, and a good fall back if you give up too soon. A good company and a great product will help you overcome your fears and show you that it is possible!
5) I can go anywhere. Want 5 day weekends and no alarm clock? That is possible. Want to pour yourselves into people all over the world and have a business you can run 100% from your smart phone whether you are in Honduras, Holland, Hamburg, or Home? That is possible.
4) Residual income! Wow. Briefly that means making one sale and having the potential to be paid for it the rest of your life. And unlike someone selling great diet systems or awesome one-time purchases, the products I market are so powerful I will take them the rest of my life. And so will many others. This means the potential for seeing awesome residual income is not only possible, but regular everyday people are experiencing this.
3) GREAT GREAT networking opportunities. You learn to care about people. You learn to step out of your comfort zone. You learn it is not as terrifying as you thought. And think how much fear really does hinder us – and you simply need to overcome your fears but you are never alone. OK, look at it this way. You ate at a great restaurant. You enjoyed it so much you told everyone you met. 20 people ended up hearing about it. 2 people booked a reservation that very night! Yet, did you really care that 18 people ate somewhere else? No, you just were excited and you were just trying to share a great experience. Why then, should this become any different when we turn this natural thing into a business? Just have the same mindset.
2) It is a better way. And if you have been in corporate America, you can see that you can do everything right, and you are still expendable at the end of the day. Yes, we don’t live for money. But money gives you opportunities to influence people. And the greater leader you become the more people you influence. I want to be out of debt and a man of influence. If I have wealth to go with it, great. If I give away 90% of my income every month because I am financially set, I can do way way more than a life when you can’t say YES to anything because of finances.
1) The power of 5 comes alive! You in general are the average of the 5 people you hang around the most. In most companies, you are around a bunch of whiners and complainers who complain about the company and complain about their health and complain about their family and complain about life and complain about whoever is President. And if you are Mr. Positive there, you tend to be the first one out the door! Not here. And if you are negative, you start to see things are different and you start to see for things to change, you have to change. You adopt a winning culture. There is a big difference between the leadership of a championship team and culture and one that is always at the bottom of the pack year after year. Winners not only attract winners but CREATE them. I am excited to be around winners and have people willing to teach me what it takes to be one.
I love network marketing so much that I would pay to belong to one even if there was no earning potential.
