Don’t like who the likely choices are for the upcoming election? If we prayed half as much as we complained, and prayed 1/10 of how much time we spent following the election on Fox and CNN, we might have someone worth voting for.
WE get who we deserve as leaders. Cursed is the nation when our God is not the Lord. Instead we love our American Idols and most of the churches today have a list of ones that are acceptable and ones that are forbidden. I am deemed spiritual if I only enjoy the ones that fly in my camp.
A good principal is found in the Old Testament, which is 100% historically accurate.
God appointed wicked Kings to judge the nation of Israel and when that nation repented from their idolatry, and turned from their wickedness, God released them from their captivity.
Leonard Ravenhill said “Anything you love more than God is an idol. I don’t care what it is!”
Whatever has our hearts gets proven in the storms, or after church . It is what we devote most of our time to and our money. It is what naturally comes out of our mouths when we talk to other people.
Question — those who oppose those of us who refuse to vote for EITHER,
if it comes down to Hillary vs. Trump,
are you praying for our nation?
Are you focused on getting your heart right and falling in love with Jesus Christ?
Are you focused on judgment beginning in God’s house before anything can be fixed at the White House?
And are you willing to FAST for our nation?
What is sad is even looking at the most likely scenario of Hillary vs. Trump (or just as likely scenario of WWIII or some major events centered around election, etc where Obama can declare martial law and give himself a 3rd term!), it is not enough to get the average American Christian to turn off the TV and turn to Jesus in true repentance and beg a Holy God to turn the tide of our nation!!!
That is what it will take.
But it is easier to blame us who refuse to choose the lesser of 2 evils. I choose God over evil.
