Where’s the Salt?

Here’s a thought….maybe, just maybe, if there was less confusion in today’s Christianity in the church, and more of us identified with the Lord Jesus Christ, there would be less gender confusion out in the world.

The world is just a reflection of the church.

And the church is getting more and more double minded, one foot in the church, one foot in the world. Professing Jesus on Sunday, back to the lusts of this world on Monday. That is often best case.
In fact, many many young people bring the world right in and never skip a beat, mesmerized by the lusts of this world the entire service. All you need is a smart phone.
just look at the back few pews in any service and we have the texting and non texting sections, the Facebookers, and game players, and worse.  And many parents hand their kids a Gameboy, or a DVD player, in church so the kids “behave”.   It is like hiring the devil to run the nursery.
Just maybe, if the church makes up it’s mind over whom it will serve, more of the world would be able to sort out the truth from the lies.

Like a ship lost in a terrible storm are those in our world.  They spin in circles and don’t know where to turn.  The only comfort they have is the familiar, as dark and dreary and hopeless it is.  To them it is less terrifying than the fear of the unknown.

Looking for anyone and anything to be an anchor and a lighthouse. Obama, hear our cries!  Oh wait he is leaving!  Trump are you the one?  Pope Francis, can you save us?  We need to legalize pot, that will solve it.  Bernie!  Joel Olsteen, Rick Warren, Benny Hinn, what are we to do?  Maybe science has the answer in a galaxy far, far way.

My hope is not in Obama.  It’s not in the ex of Ivanna, and it’s certainly not in Chelsea’s Mama.
Make America great again?
Give America the change it needs.  Get the anchor of hope out, and the lighthouse that shows the right way out of this mess.
Who better fits that than the Lord Jesus Christ?
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness!

He is the only hope we have for a lost and dying world.

Unless we are too much in love with the world to think the lost want to leave it ever.Whers
