Sin is like shopping with a credit card.
You will max out your card before the bill comes and when it does you will find out you cannot pay it. For the WAGES of SIN is death…… The proof you are a sinner is one day you will die. The Bible says for the SOUL THAT SINNETH, IT SHALL DIE.
And if you are not saved, you will have a bill that you have to pay for FOREVER in Hell. And you will never pay it off no matter how long you are there. BUT the gift OF GOD is eternal life THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. (Romans 6:23).
You might not believe you are a sinner, you might not think what you do is a big deal, you might think when you go to the grave that is it. It won’t matter what you believed. It will matter if what you believed was true.
And your death will prove the Bible. That is why we die. And that is why you need eternal life. You die but it isn’t over. There is a 2nd death for the Lost who die in their sin. The Bible says whosoever was not found written in the book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. And the Bible says death and hell were cast into the lake of fire -BUT – the bible says the smoke of their torment goes on forever and ever.
Jesus did EVERYTHING POSSIBLE so you don’t have to experience the SECOND DEATH. The first one is bad enough.
That is WHY YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN. When you get saved, your sin bill gets PAID IN FULL. You are born again, born alive to God and Jesus moves in and when God looks on you all he sees is the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD.
You inherited a sinful nature that sends you to hell.
When you get saved, you inherit Jesus’ righteousness and nature, and that is what sends you to heaven.
You were born a sinner.
You need to be born again a SAINT.
Born ONCE? Die TWICE.
When your heart stops and when you enter the lake of fire. Neither cause to cease to exist.
Born TWICE? DIE ONCE. My heart stops and I miss out on the lake of fire because of what JESUS DID. Not by my works, but his. And then eternal life kicks in.
You will spend eternity either in Heaven or Hell.
Payday someday when the bill comes in. You might as well humble yourself and get it paid in full now.
Or get it paid by Hell.
God’s mercy endureth forever, but God is not obligated to beg you to accept his offer. This might be your one and only chance. Don’t take that lightly.
