God can use you.  God wants to use you.  God is able to use you.

The devil will tell you God can’t use someone like you.  Or God is done with you.

The devil will get you to want to quit.  The grace of God will keep you going and going and going.

Like the Energizer bunny, but Jesus is the Lamb of God, so maybe it is the Energizer Lamby.

And more realistically God keeps you going and going and going.  And you fall and Jesus picks you up and dusts you off and cleans you up.  And encourages you again to keep going and then you keep going and going and going.

And if it wasn’t for Jesus you’d mess up 6 times a day.  Or more.  So to mess it up every once in a while when we simply take our eyes off of Jesus shouldn’t get us to quit.

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

Keep your eyes on the ball, not on the fall.

Don’t ever give up.

A preacher said, God will use you.  If he can use Peter who denied the Lord, he can use you.  Noah got drunk, Moses stuttered, Jonah ran from God, Timothy was too young,  James and John were hot heads, Jacob was a day dreamer, David was an adulterer and a murderer, Samson had long hair and was a womanizer,  Joseph was abused, Leah was ugly, Rachel stole her father’s idols, Rahab was a prostitute, the woman at the well was divorced multiple times,  Elijah was suicidal, Abraham was too old, Thomas doubted, the disciples fell asleep, Martha was worried about everything, Mary Magdaline — you know what she was, the Mad Man of Gadara was crazy, Bartimaeus was blind, the women with the issue of blood was too sick, Zacchaeus was too short, Paul was too religious.

And Lazurus was dead.

If God can use a dead man, he can use you.
