Here is an interesting experiment. I took about 10 of my last written posts on Facebook -some short, some long — and cut and pasted them. 2 or 3 I pasted in the middle but in general this was random. I am not sure if it will make sense or not. If it makes sense, it could be God or if it makes as much sense as my usual writing, it could be that I am a bit whacky. But perhaps you will get a blessing!
I find it funny that most folks who accuse you of quoting the Bible out of context, have never read it through for themselves.
John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
I just saw a guy post that Jesus is a friend of saints, not sinners and used Hebrews 7:26 as his proof text.
I disagree and here is the verse in full.
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
And here is my response. The commentary on the Prodigal son is from a sermon preached by Baptist Chuck Coulson.
Hebrews said he was separate from sinners. It does not say he hated them or wanted them to go to Hell. Jesus came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. The publicans and sinners received Jesus and saw their need. Jesus tore the hide off the pharisees and those who said, “Thank God I am not like that publican”. Many many times our attitude as Christians are more like the older brother — “for all these years i served thee” and we are in the Fathers house, but we don’t know the Fathers heart.
Jesus is the truth and Jesus said Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
If you are not FREE, you have the wrong JESUS. A false Jesus that does not match the one revealed in scripture is a man made idol.
Not sure why so many Christians think of pi on 3 14 but don’t think of John today on 3 16
I caught a couple minutes the other day of “Return of the King” the third movie in the Lord of the Rings. It was on closed captioned, and the King Aragorn said, “You will suffer me.”
Suffer is an old English word meaning allow.
Now I have a question. Those who didn’t understand it’s meaning were not discouraged from watching the movie and rewatching the movie, despite the archaic words.
In fact, the archaic words just reinforced one was immersed in another world.
Here’s my question then. Why does the archaic words keep you, and so many others, from the ‘ol King James Bible???
If you have any friends who think evolution is true (I think mine all unfriended me already!) here’s a thought God gave me…
Most pharmaceuticals don’t live up to their hype. However, the ones that work semi-miracles often mimic something already “naturally found”. For example, there are all kinds of tweaked insulins out there available as a prescription but they all mimic the one our body produces.
So those who believe in evolution and everything is by random chance, believe this —
the natural insulin evolved without intelligence, nor design.
yet, to tweak the natural insulin requires both design and intelligence by folks with PhD’s.
And both insulin formulations come with complicated written instructions how to recreate it.
One is in the form of instructions that chemical engineers and organic chemists can read and follow.
The other one is in our body uses a written code called DNA.
The only difference is our designer is the Master Engineer, the Master Designer.
Now, things that are made often have an owner’s manual. Only who made it really has the right to produce the manual. Our owner’s manual is the King James bible. It is 100% accurate, and never needs any updates!
The media distracts the lost from thinking about their need to be saved —and distracts the saved from caring about the lost….

The worst thing you can do today, in many folks estimates is to say something offensive or hold to an absolute.
I disagree. The best thing you can do is offend someone who is lost and going to hell.
Hell is truth realized too late.
Hebrews 2:3 says How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Luke 3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Jesus didn’t worry if he offended. He cared more about your salvation.
And that is what I care about as well.
Be offended, but please don’t go to hell!
Life is too short to be wrong about eternity.
Blessed is the nation who’s God is the Lord……and the wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nation’s that FORGET God. America, your choice!
