What a day that will be! CHANGE is coming, ready or not.
Proverbs 29:2 says
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people MOURN.
There is not much hope for positive change in this upcoming election. But cheer up, things will get worse.
Before they get better.
And things won’t get better until Jesus returns.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the GOVERNMENT shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
We might shed some tears over where this world is heading.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither SORROW, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
We need to first not look around at circumstances, but get a vision of what God is doing. He is in control. I love the song, Be thou my vision. Without vision, the people perish, says the bible. Right now, we can’t see beyond the election. Which was already decided awhile back at the last Bilderberg meeting of the world’s elites.
Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
naught be all else to me, save that thou art –
thou my best thought, by day or by night;
waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.
And the bible says men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil.
Know what really bothers me? To most today, evil doesn’t bother them.
But when you say the EVIL is wrong, then whoa, they suddenly come out of their shell and grow a backbone.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
I was listening to a message from Pastor Ed Lorena, a National Pastor in the Philippines. He has a church full of servants, and his men live, eat, and breathe their Christianity. We need not compare ourselves amongst ourselves, but many in America think they are doing God a favor going to church more than once a week. We aren’t worthy to lace their sandals, to be honest! This is not supposed to be a harsh rebuke, but a wake up reality check that really, we are in general lukewarm, and think as Americans we are God’s gift to this world. The reality is we need some of their missionaries to come to us!!!!!!
Ed Lorena preached this in at our Redeeming the Time in 2009 Annual Camp Meeting.
“Jesus Christ died for our sins. But the question before me this morning is Where is the fire? Where is the FIRE? Where is the heat? Where is the excitement?
You know most Christians in American are more excited of the ball games than the ministries. You can hear their words while they are watching the ball games but won’t say AMEN when the Pastor or Preacher preaches the WORD of God! Don’t you know 1800 years ago the ones that Amen’d the loudest were Baptists? Today it is the Charismatics. They have the fire but it is their own fire. The Charismatic Preacher can touch your feet and make you dance, but he cannot touch your heart to make you right with God.
You have the King James bible, but your life is NIV.”
The fire needs to fall. We need to simply FALL in love with JESUS and let our hearts burn for him.
JESUS IS ALIVE. He is the new and living way. All other “Religions” are a dying way.
Jesus is THE WAY, not to a dead dying religion. But to a living, breathing relationship to the TRUE AND LIVING God.
The pro sports fans never get sick of following their teams. They love their all-star players, they root for them every game, they chomp at the bit for the opening kick-off or face off, and they follow all the stats day in and day out. In Buffalo, we have the Buffalo Sabres NHL hockey team. I can say that Sabres fans, never get enough of their star rookie Jack Eichel. NFL Buffalo Bills fans, you think about opening kick off all year long. Sports fans, you can never get enough of your American idols or being a fanatic for your team.
So, then why do I get grief for being passionate about a God who made the SUN out of nothing? Don’t you think if you truly met the God of the Universe, He would be captivate your heart, time, and attention?
Why do you think He doesn’t? Could it be that you never ever met Him?
We don’t choose the devil’s team. We are born on it. That is why JESUS said Ye must be born again. That is where it all starts. Turn from your idols and turn to the TRUE and LIVING God.
The only regret you will have is why you didn’t do it sooner.
My prayer is you don’t have eternal regrets you never did it at all.
Look at it this way. The meteorologist can’t get a 5 day forecast 100% fight.
The newspaper will run corrections the following day.
Yet “you” often trust them without questioning things.
Think for a second. Why do you not trust a book that has not been proven wrong in 2,000 years? A book that 2,000 years ago described the last days –TODAY — as having the following characteristics:
1) Knowledge will increase
2) People will travel to and fro
3) The Last day church period will be full of folks rich and in need of nothing
4) 2nd Timothy said that in the last days perilous times shall come
5) The bible says things will get worse and worse
6) The bible says men will become prideful, lovers of PLEASURES rather than lovers of God
7) that homosexuality and other ungodly behaviors will increase
8) That the Jews would return to their homeland
9) That men today would be ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth
10) that false prophets and false teachers would be rampant
11) In the last days men will deny the flood
The next event is this — Jesus is COMING!
They missed the boat in Noah’s Day.
They missed the Lord coming the first time because they didn’t expect a babe in a manger.
Most will miss His second coming –and BE LEFT BEHIND to FACE the full WRATH OF GOD ON A CHRIST REJECTING WORLD because they are willingly ignorant.
Please take God’s warnings seriously. Odds are you won’t.
2nd Peter Chapter 3
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2nd Thessalonians 1 says
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Some of you reading this are so stubborn, that you are going to end up going into the tribulation period and facing the full wrath of God, instead of simply being willing to humble yourselves and admit you are wrong.
If you won’t get saved now, and won’t simply come to Jesus in faith and repentance now, odds are you are sealing your eternity in Hell. That should concern you. It concerns me and I don’t even know who is reading this.
I am saved. It started from admitting I was wrong and God is right.
My principal for the last 12 years was I wanted the TRUTH much, much more than I wanted to “stay right.”
Nothing is worth going to hell over.
And no one is worth going to hell over.
Please, please wake up. One day I won’t be here, and neither will the rest of the born again believers. The Bible is CLEAR — at any moment, we will be GONE.
And you’ll be left behind in your delusions, And your pride and stubborness.
And YES friends and FAMILY, I am talking to you especially.
So get ready.
Why?
Jesus is Coming!
2nd Thessalonians 1:
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you WORTHY of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
How can God count you worthy? IF you are saved, give God your life. How do you do that? Just look at your dash.
It is Foolish is to NOT GIVE GOD that dash in the middle.
IE, we get a DOB, we get the day we die (if we aren’t raptured!) and on our tombstone, we get a dash in the middle. Compare that dash to the length of eternity. He that findeth his life shall lose it — He that LOSETH his life for Jesus’ sake shall find it. GIVE GOD YOUR DASH — DAILY!!!
Being nice to people so they are nice back, is not LOVE but manipulation. True love means telling people the TRUTH even if they want to kill you.
What breaks my heart is that for most of you, it won’t be until you step into hell that you see where I was coming from.
