Part of the “church’s” treatment of homosexuality is mostly due to our own insecurities and watered-down evangelism efforts creating short-cuts to salvation, weak repentance, and weak converts.

Jesus Christ came to save sinners, and the article above hit the nail on the head that sin is a symptom of a deceitful heart that only can be changed by the blood of Jesus. The devil uses different lures to ensnare sinners and keep them blind and in bondage but the church needs to focus on the fact JESUS SAVES, the BLOOD STILL SAVES, JESUS DOESN’T CHANGE and the BIBLE still says “SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU” .

The church needs to stop limiting the gospel to the lures that make us comfortable, ie the church today treats current fornicators better than ex-homosexuals — and to stop labeling anyone we don’t want to pour our lives into as reprobates, and any one that needs more than a once-in-a-while “praying for you text” as in need of professional counseling!
