Our kids love singing the B.I.B.L.E. song…the B.I.B.L.E. yes that’s the book for me, the B.I.B.L.E. yes that’s the book for me, the B.I.B.L.E., yes that’s the book for me, the B.I.B.L.E.!!!!!! <\/span><\/p>\n

and after we all yell out loud BIBLE!!!!!!!<\/p>\n

Michelle made me laugh last time we sang. After she shouted KING JAMES BIBLE!!!!<\/p>\n

God opened a good conversation today with a customer on the KJV today.<\/p>\n

I had made this comment about the KJV debate and thought this might give someone some help sorting out, “Which Bible?”<\/p>\n

I could “win” the argument that the KJV is God’s preserved word (and the other versions aren’t) with all the amazing evidence inside, and manuscript evidence comparing translations.<\/p>\n

I could “wow” you with showing you the missing words and changed words.<\/p>\n

I could “wear” you out by belittling you and attacking you.<\/p>\n

But i think perhaps what is best is to just let God “woo” you because I found it has to be first by conviction and by God showing you.<\/p>\n

I was told KJV-only was a cult my first 3 years reading the NIV but someone witnessed to me about it. I started looking around at the confusion<\/p>\n

(and sadly, if it was reversed and i started off in the KJV Baptist circles and started looking around…..meaning I wouldn’t see much truth OBEYED and applied and could have deduced that the KJV Bible wasn’t as powerful as claimed!\u00a0 But that is not God’s fault!!!)<\/p>\n

and reasoned that if the you would know the truth and the truth would set you free, if people aren’t being set free maybe there isn’t much truth.<\/p>\n

Now I see how God put all this on my heart. Then for the next 30 days I simply decided to read the KJV alone and reasoned that if it was just another translation, what was the harm? I had an attitude of “I don’t know God but I want the truth more than I want to stay right.”<\/p>\n

At the end I knew that I knew that I knew. I am 100% secure it is God’s word because God showed me and once I knew I had God’s word, a literal creation in Genesis came alive, evangelism became alive, and it really proved how alive this book was.<\/p>\n
