Wanted to share some lyrics from a Bro Combs song that was a blessing to my heart along with many of his other songs.\u00a0 \u00a0 This one was from the Camp meeting, How to Survive in 2005 at Old Time Baptist Church!!!!!<\/p>\n

And really, they don’t make it.\u00a0 We can live in denial and pretend we don’t need salvation, we can distract ourselves in the 24\/7 entertainment that is out there, we can numb our pain with the sex-drugs-and-rock-and-roll of the world….or we can simply TRUST JESUS by giving HIM the keys to our lives.<\/p>\n
Problems will still come our way\u00a0 –\u00a0 And often getting saved means more problems than ever because now we have a target on our back and salvation unleashes the world, the flesh, and the devil on us without mercy.<\/p>\n
The American church message and the TV preacher message is often come to Jesus and your problems will go away-\u00a0 \u00a0The real biblical message is come to Jesus problems or not-\u00a0 and when you get saved expect temptations, tribulations, and trials-\u00a0 \u00a0But Jesus won\u2019t abandon you in them either.<\/p>\n
Jesus is a shelter in the time of storm!<\/p>\n
But I’d rather face the storm in the boat with the LORD than out in the waves with no anchor.\u00a0 Jesus says, Come unto me.\u00a0 Call unto me<\/em>.<\/p>\n LOOK UNTO ME and BE YE SAVED<\/em> says Jesus.<\/p>\n You won’t make it without Him.\u00a0 You can\u2019t make it to heaven without Him-\u00a0 \u00a0And that means Hell.\u00a0 \u00a0You can\u2019t make it through this world without Him no matter how many meds they put you on or how fast you run from God.<\/p>\n In trials and problems and hurts and bad news –\u00a0 RUN to JESUS.\u00a0 \u00a0 Not from God.\u00a0 Jesus is God.<\/p>\n The Bible says about Jesus – he that cometh to ME I will in no wise cast out.<\/em><\/p>\n You won\u2019t make it through life without Him.\u00a0 And that includes eternal life.<\/p>\n The devil lies and says you will.\u00a0 Human nature thinks it can make it.<\/p>\n That is a lie.\u00a0 The bible says it’s a lie.\u00a0 And I will tell you by experience it is a lie!<\/p>\n Jesus saves!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Wanted to share some lyrics from a Bro Combs song that was a blessing to my heart along with many of his other songs.\u00a0 \u00a0 This one was from the Camp meeting, How to Survive in 2005 at Old Time … Continue reading
